Steady growth in these loans has been observed since March 2015 – since then they have grown by EUR 913.8 mln. Loans for consumption and other purposes grew by EUR 6.9 mln and EUR 9.1 mln respectively over the month.
Loans from credit institutions to Lithuanian general government contracted by EUR 85.3 mln, while loans to Lithuanian non-financial corporations augmented by EUR 2.3 mln. Deposits of Lithuanian residents with credit institutions boosted by EUR 107.1 mln: general
government deposits and household deposits increased by EUR 120.2 mln and EUR 32.3 mln respectively, while non-financial corporation and financial sector deposits decreased by EUR 40.1 mln and EUR 5.3 mln respectively.
