The Lithuanian Parliament has proposed to tax immovable property worth more that LTL 760,000 (EUR 220,000) by a 0.5 percent rate. This would affect approximately 4,700 Lithuanians. Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius says that the tax is aimed only at the rich. The European Commission signed a new partnership agreement (6 December 2014), involving airlines, airport operators and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP). They will receive up to €3 bn in EU funding, in order to implement common projects and modernise Europe's Air Traffic Management (ATM) System.
