SocietyMobile operator Bite Lithuania has introduced its new unlimited mobile internet tariff for retail subscribers, telecompaper.com said. On 14 January, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius hosts an official event to mark the euro adoption, to be held at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius. President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and Speaker of the Seimas Loreta Graužinienė will also attend the event. On the invitation of the Prime Minister, President of the European Council Donald Tusk, Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, and other high-ranking representatives of the eurozone countries and the EU institutions will also arrive in Lithuania. Over 60 biofuel plants that are currently being built will become operational in 2015-2016 heating season. Lithuanian biofuel will generate two thirds of district heating volume. On Monday, January 5th, Canadian-based coffee franchise and retailer Second Cup launched a cafe in Lithuania's capital Vilnius, in business centre 3 Bures. EUR 200,000 was invested in the cafe and more are planned to be opened in the future. |
