Vice Minister of Economy and Innovation Marius Skuodis told he had an unofficial meeting with the Tesla representatives today.
"I know they are interested in the Lithuanian market. Their representatives are in Lithuania. I wouldn’t want to comment any further as I don’t full information myself," Skuodis told.
Sources have told Tesla is interested in creating a network of charging stations in Lithuania and is also looking of a place for its dealership.
Several years ago, Lithuania invited Tesla to build a gigafactory but the company chose Germany instead.
