Poles from the Vilnius Region at the 3rd May ceremonies in Warsaw L24.lt

Leaders of the Polish community in Lithuania took part in the 226th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of 3rd May in Warsaw. Valdemar Tomaševski, chairman of the Electoral Action of Poles – Christian Families Aliance (EAPL-CFA) and Rita Tamašunienė, chairwoman of EAPL-CFA Seimas faction represented Polish community during the ceremonies.

The ceremonies began in the St. John's Archcathedral in Warsaw where a Holy Mass was celebrated. President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda as well as Prime Minister Beata Szydło took part in the Mass.

Afterwards,President Andrzej Duda awarded the State Orders of the White Eagle in the Royal Palace.

Poles from Lithuania also took part in the ceremonies of the Constitution of 3rd May anniversary in the Royal Palace on the invitation of the President Andrzej Duda.
