The latest studies show that creative industries are one of the most effective economy spheres. The number of students, enrolled to these study programmes, is increasing in Lithuania, and the sector‘s annual growth of five - eight per cent is forecasted. 

Young scientists were invited to the Lithuanian Presidential Palace on April 23 to collect the awards for the best dissertations of the year 2013. Young researchers from different Lithuanian universities, such as Vilnius University, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences , Kaunas University of Technology, Klaipeda University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, competed in physics, technology, biomedical and agricultural sciences, humanities and social sciences, environmental categories.
