"During the visit to Indonesia last year, contacts were established that bore concrete results today. Indonesia takes interest in modern technology invented in Lithuania, solar panels and, generally, our experience in innovative industries. We bear witness to a situation, where Lithuania starts spreading innovation in the fourth largest country in the world. I hope that in the future the two countries will successfully widen the scope of cooperation, which is based on intelligent technologies and solutions," said Lithuania's Foreign Minister.
Bilateral relations between Lithuania and Indonesia increased significantly after the first official visit of the head of the Lithuanian diplomacy to Indonesia in August 2015. Even more high-level visits are planned in the near future, agreements are being initiated to facilitate the further development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, education, etc.
