On 18 August 2015, Siauliu Bankas has received a notification from the Bank of Lithuania stating that the Board of the Bank of Lithuania passed a resolution to agree with reorganisation of the bank Finasta AB merging it with Siauliu Bankas AB by acquisition. Against I quarter 2015, the volume of construction work increased by 67.8%, yet seasonally and working day adjusted – decreased by 0.3%. In May 2015, Lithuania's industrial production volume went up by 0.7% compared with previous month and on a year-on-year basis increased by 6.9%, Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU), said. Statistics Lithuania informs that in July 2015, against June, prices for the total industrial production sold decreased by 2%, refined petroleum products excluded – by 0.3%. From January to June of 2015, Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover increased by 6.2% to 18.86 million tons or 1.1 million tons more compared with the corresponding period of 2014. |
