According to the data of Statistics Lithuania, apartment prices in older buildings increased by 1.6%. Prices in apartment buildings went up by 4.4%, while prices of apartment buildings with one or two flats decreased by 7.4%.
Apartment prices in new developments increased by 1.3% and prices of apartment buildings with one or two flats in such developments increased by 6.6%, while apartment prices in larger buildings decreased by 0.7%.
In the first quarter of 2014 year-on-year apartment prices increased by 3.9%. Apartment prices in older buildings increased by 9.5%, while prices in buildings with one or two flats decreased by 6.4%.
In the first quarter of 2014 year-on-year, price decrease in newly built apartments was caused by price drop of larger apartments in major cities.
