Vice-minister of Transport and Communications and Lithuania Post's Chairman of the Board Arijandas Sliupas said:
"Lithuania Post's partnership with courier and mail delivery companies in China plays an important role in exploiting the potential of our country. Due to a convenient geographical location and well-developed transport infrastructure we are an especially attractive country in terms of transit of international correspondence. I have no doubts that this cooperation will allow Lithuania to become China's, one of the biggest world markets, gate to Europe."
According to Mr Sliupas, China has the largest e-commerce market in Asia and one of the largest markets in the world. Rapid market growth followed by increasing volumes of transported items prompts companies in China to search for safe and fast delivery of items to every country worldwide, including European countries.
CEO of Lithuania Post Lina Minderiene said:

While strengthening our position in the market that is one of the largest in the world we open up new opportunities for the development of Lithuania Post and turnover growth."
The project is also joined by the transport and logistics company Hoptrans located in Kaunas.
S.F. Express is one of the leading courier companies in China rendering services in China and other Asian countries as well as the USA and Australia.
In May of the current year, Lithuania Post has also entered into partnership with CLEVY, an international consulting and service provider located in Peking and specialized in aviation, transport and logistics sectors. The company focuses on services to Chinese companies enabling them to develop international business. CLEVY works with such companies as Alibaba Group being one of the largest world e-trade businesses the items of which make 60% of items delivered in China.
